Culpeper Downtown Celebrates the Season with the 2026 Christmas Parade!
Culpeper Downtown Celebrates the Season with the 2026 Christmas Parade!
Get ready for one of the most magical evenings of the year in Downtown Culpeper! The annual Culpeper Christmas Parade returns on Sunday, December 6, 2026, beginning at 5:00 PM, bringing festive floats, twinkling lights, holiday music, and plenty of Christmas cheer to historic Main Street.
This beloved community tradition brings thousands of spectators together each year to celebrate the season while supporting meaningful local causes. Proceeds from the 2026 parade will benefit Wreaths Across America Culpeper National Cemetery, which honors our nation’s veterans through the placement of wreaths each December, and the Piedmont Warming Shelter, which provides individuals experiencing homelessness with a safe, warm place to stay, meals, and essential support during the coldest months of the year.
Before the parade, families are encouraged to enjoy Holiday Sunday Funday for the KIDS, taking place throughout Downtown Culpeper from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Spend the day shopping local, exploring downtown businesses, enjoying festive activities, and making holiday memories. Santa will also be visiting Angry Wife Brewhouse from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The Christmas Parade will begin at Piedmont Street, travel along Main Street, and conclude at Mason Street. Spectators can enjoy an evening filled with beautifully decorated floats, marching bands, festive performances, and Santa’s grand arrival.
Registration is now open for businesses, organizations, and community groups interested in participating in this year’s parade. The registration deadline is Monday, November 30, 2026. Volunteers are also welcome to help bring this cherished holiday tradition to life.
Mark your calendars, bundle up, and join us for an unforgettable day in Downtown Culpeper on Sunday, December 6! Whether you’re watching the parade, shopping local, or simply soaking in the holiday magic, there’s something for everyone.
Please note that the parade will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the parade will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
