Bestselling Historian Peter Stark joins the Museum of Culpeper History to discuss his book YOUNG WASHINGTON: How Wilderness and War Forged America’s Founding Father. By weaving together Washington’s harrowing wilderness adventures and a broader historical context, Peter Stark celebrates the impending 250th Anniversary of our country by offering new insights into the dramatic years that shaped the man who shaped a nation. Copies of his book will be available for purchase before and after the lecture.
